Privacy Policy
DayBar: Widgets (“DayBar”, “the app”) is designed to work without collecting personal information. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Who is responsible
The app is published under the QuietApps brand. The data controller responsible for the app, and the holder of the Apple Developer account it is distributed from, is Daria Kovalchuk. You can reach us at [email protected].
Data stored on your device
Everything you create in the app — widget configurations, countdown events, text styles, and background photos — is stored locally on your device, in the app’s shared container so that your widgets can display it. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Accounts
DayBar has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, or location.
Analytics
We use TelemetryDeck to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example, which features are popular and whether purchases complete successfully. TelemetryDeck is privacy-preserving: signals are anonymized before processing, contain no personal identifiers and no advertising identifiers, cannot be used to identify or track you, and are processed in the EU. You can read TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy at telemetrydeck.com/privacy.
Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Your purchase entitlement is verified on-device using Apple’s StoreKit framework.
Photos
If you choose a photo as a widget background, the app stores a resized copy in its local container solely to display it in your widget. Photos are never uploaded anywhere.
What we do not do
- No accounts or sign-in
- No collection of names, emails, contacts, or location
- No third-party advertising or tracking SDKs
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties
Data deletion
Deleting the app removes all data it stored on your device.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above.
